TCEA LEGO Robotics Training
Day two training
The notes for the day will be below in the blog. If you are watching it live, please comment or share any resources so we know who is watching. Your comments will be approved
EDIT: We had visitors from National Instruments come by today. During lunch, we participated in a discussion concerning what we as educators would like to see in resources on a website that will assist in the implementation of LEGO and LabVIEW in our classrooms. After lunch, Danny Diaz came by to explain TEXAS TEA, the 2010 TCEA Robotics Contest. Danny designed the contest for TCEA. He is a mentor for LASA robotics and very involved in robotics in Central Texas.
The teachers worked on different LabVIEW programming sequences throughout the day. Case structures, while loops, line following, threshold, wait for sensors were all worked on. We had to work with a partner that was assigned to us.
Betty, Peggy and Kathy continue to encourage, praise and assist all of us in the workshops. It is so good to have three individuals who are so experienced to work with us.
